About Oakwood
At Oakwood Operations, we believe that great businesses are built on strong foundations - just like the sturdy oak trees that inspired our name. I’m Kevin, the guy behind the scenes (and often in the trenches), making sure businesses run smoothly without drowning in paperwork. Growing up on Eastern Long Island in a family of small business owners, I learned firsthand what it takes to run a hardworking business. From commercial fishing to landscaping, I worked in small businesses long before I ever stepped into the startup world. After years of scaling operations for fast-moving companies, I realized my heart was still with the service businesses my friends and family run - the ones keeping communities moving but often buried in admin headaches.
That’s why I started Oakwood Operations. My goal is simple: to help business owners take back their time, streamline their operations, and get rid of the stress that comes with running the back office. Whether it’s organizing finances, managing employees, or tackling systems that should just work, I make the complicated feel easy.
